Over the last
2 weeks since being Hatted I have had some of my lovely customers ask me what
it means, so here we go.....
This is New Zealands only independent rating system & the Hat puts us
in a unique category of Restaurants within New Zealand
The assessors visit all restaurants across the country, unannounced, so to be
judged anonymously over the year quite a few times, is always on your mind and
to hear your restaurant has maintained the high standard to be recognized as 1
of the Top 100 restaurants for the second year in a row in New Zealand is just
outstanding, Im so proud of my husband Andrew, he works very hard always
changing the menu, using local fresh seasonal ingredients & innovative cooking
techniques,
It recognizes innovative dishes & consistency over the last 12 months, these
awards will pay homeage to longevity, we have been open for 4 years next month
so very proud of our small rural family run business
But to go up to Auckland and be awarded a Hat! Wow we are totally thrilled! We
still cant believe it!

We received a HAT!
