Hosts Andrew and Jenni May would love to welcome you to their new unique
restaurant, situated in "Friendly Feilding", the heart of the Manawatu. They take great
pride in sourcing fresh local and seasonal ingredients to ensure that their menu is
varied and reflects their love and passion of New Zealand - there may even be a
bit of Scotland in there too!!
Amayjen the Restaurant is both elegant and exciting! With his great knowledge of New Zealand ingredients, Andrew makes use of modern techniques to enhance flavours, and innovative presentation styles as a feast for the eyes.
Andrew and Jenni are truly passionate about food and wine together with the
whole dining experience.

Having left New Zealand over 20 years ago and travelling the world, working in five-star establishments and winning Scottish Chef of the Year 2009/10, Chef Andrew May and wife Jenni moved back to New Zealand in 2010 where they settled in Feilding and opened Amayjen (pronounced Imagine)
To meet demand Amayjen offers Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Our à la carte menu is seasonal and for a large group booking we have our 3 course Set Menu at $60 pp.
